Illinois has background checks for all gun sales and we can see how well that has worked out for Chicago. Background checks are a placebo, with the vast majority of denials being false hits (In 2010, around 72,000 people were stopped from buying a gun in the U.S. because of background checks, but only 44 were prosecuted and 13 found guilty! The rest were mostly false hits that were later corrected). |

anyone else note the irony of the involvement of Tom Ridge in the "Kermit Gosnell" debacle, [now a movie of the most prolific known serial killer in history, an abortion doctor who also killed pregnant moms] ? Ridge prevented any inspection of Gosnell's shop of horrors by decree. Ridge was the point man in the Gosnell crime. To rehash, he was basically the brady campaign point man in the RNC, pro AWB, anti 2A/gun, really a smug c*nt about it, shielded/loved by Bush2, and also a key figure behind the Orwellian Patriot Act & DHS.
