That wouldn't leave much left. It would completely defeat the intent of the bill. Not to mention that it doesn't change much from existing law where carry on campus outside of buildings is legal.
"Everything we could think of in terms of bringing guns into the classroom is negative," Brown says. "All the reasons are negative. It doesn’t enhance learning, it has no bearing on your education."
Except that he would be one of the people wishing for an armed intervention if a shooter showed up on campus.
They are trying to create a problem where not exists. Concealed campus carry where allowed in other states has never been a problem. |
