I read this as a "white man bad" piece.
The photo shows a black dude with an AR +50rd magazine. There was no mention of him or any other black being relieved of such armament.
The article only referenced a guy carrying concealed without a permit as being 'cited' and his weapon confiscated. Apparently he wasn't taken into custody.
