Guns by the dozens are flooding Nashville streets, thanks to a mix of brazen burglars, and careless car owners. To date this year, more than 230 guns have been stolen from cars across Nashville. "Pistols, we've seen long guns too, rifles, we've seen AR style rifles taken, you name it," said Community Affairs Sgt. Michael Fisher, with Metro Police East Precinct. "Most certainly the firearms being stolen is our biggest threat." |

do away with the dang gun free zones and it would probably cut the loss in half, or at least get rid of the criminal penalty attached. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Those, who have the command of the arms in a country are masters of the state, and have it in their power to make what revolutions they please. [Thus,] there is no end to observations on the difference between the measures likely to be pursued by a minister backed by a standing army, and those of a court awed by the fear of an armed people. — Aristotle, as quoted by John Trenchard and Water Moyle, An Argument Shewing, That a Standing Army Is Inconsistent with a Free Government, and Absolutely Destructive to the Constitution of the English Monarchy [London, 1697]. |
