The Second Amendment to the Constitution is a joke, a travesty that has resulted in more deaths of American citizens that all the wars we have waged in 230 years. It uses the imagined device of militias to explain its declaration of the “right” to own a gun. There hasn’t been a militia in the United States in 150 years, and the slaughter continues. |

Millions more disarmed people have already been killed by their own governments than have been or will be killed by armed citizens in the US!
And, where did you get the numbers to back up your stupid remark that "more deaths of American citizens that all the wars we have waged in 230 years"?
Your last paragraph proves you ignorance! There are many instances where armed citizens prevent crimes, including last November, where an armed civilian used his assault rifle to stop the mass murder of 26 Texas churchgoers. |

Be careful what you wish for.
In most countries where guns are tightly controlled the murder rate is much higher than in the USA.
Look at South Africa where the defenseless citizens are robbed, beat and murdered at will. |

I wonder how the author would react if he was told that forcing gun bearers to wear a red armband is sorta like Hitler forcing Jews to wear the Star of David on their backs?
