"Josh Sugarmann, executive director of the rabidly anti-gun Violence Policy Center (one of the few domestic 'gun control' groups still brazen enough to publicly advocate an outright ban of private ownership of handguns), has long argued that the gun industry depends on marketing increasingly 'lethal' firearms in order to keep customers coming back for more."

"Today is the last day of the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade) show, in Las Vegas. Writing in the Huffington Post, Sugarmann claims that, 'Behind Closed Doors in Vegas, Militarized Gun Industry Sells, Sells, Sells,' and comes across as rather incensed that not just anyone is welcome at the show:" ...

Another transparent example of the anti-gun crowd's "transference principle" in action. Doubtless the VPC, (and co-conspiring anti self-defense cabals), are attempting to deflect criticism of their collective apotastic retribution modus operandi on firearms supporters.

Their attack on the SHOT show, (an industry trade show intended to secure retailers), only shows the inherent insecurity of the VPC, et al. Were they legitimate critics with a moral and reportorial conscience they might well have been invited to attend.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
The writings of scholars who have written on the subject are virtually united on the point that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms, not simply the state national guards. — PROFESSOR GLENN HARLAN REYNOLDS
