A bunch of twaddle! Chicago still has strict gun laws, and few if any gunstores. The libs are still whining about guns being smuggled in from nearby areas. Why aren't those areas just as violent as Chicago if the guns are the problem? Society is COLLAPSING in Chicago....gang violence, drugs, spurred by collapsing family structure feed this vicious cycle. Banning guns will not help. Chicago must heal itself and it's leaders ought to stop whining for more ineffective gun laws. |

Note that this idiot's only lament is that the SCOTUS forced Chitown to obey the Constitution.
Hmnph. Obey the Constitution. Imagine THAT! |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
No kingdom can be secured otherwise than by arming the people. The possession of arms is the distinction between a freeman and a slave. He, who has nothing, and who himself belongs to another, must be defended by him, whose property he is, and needs no arms. But he, who thinks he is his own master, and has what he can call his own, ought to have arms to defend himself, and what he possesses; else he lives precariously, and at discretion. James Burgh, Political Disquisitions: Or, an Enquiry into Public Errors, Defects, and Abuses [London, 1774-1775]. |
