Weiser’s remains were discovered Tuesday morning, and police revealed a timeline of her disappearance on Thursday.
She was seen leaving the drama building on campus bound for her dorm between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. on Sunday night. “She never made it to her dormitory that night,” Gay said.
Weiser’s roommates called university police the next day to report her missing and her body was found in a creek on campus Tuesday.
An autopsy concluded the death was a homicide and that she had been assaulted.
Submitters Note: And UT at Austin is doing everything they possibly can to restrict concealed carry by licensed individuals when it becomes law in August.

Even if the campus was carry friendly, an 18 year old wouldn't be lawfully carrying next fall.
And since the campus isn't carry friendly, a 21 year old isn't likely to be carrying on the way back to her dorm room. |

TO REMEMBER |
| The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.' The right of the whole people, old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear arms of every description, and not such merely as are used by the militia, shall not be infringed, curtailed, or broken in upon, in the smallest degree; and all this for the important end to be attained: the rearing up and qualifying a well-regulated militia, so vitally necessary to the security of a free State. Our opinion is that any law, State or Federal, is repugnant to the Constitution, and void, which contravenes this right. [Nunn vs. State, 1 Ga. (1 Kel.) 243, at 251 (1846)] |
