The Patriot Prayer rally scheduled for Aug. 4 is set to take place at the Waterfront -- possibly allowing protesters to carry guns. The right-wing group's leader Joey Gibson announced the location during his Facebook Live on Friday. He later posted more details saying the "Gibson For Senate Freedom March" will start at Salmon Street Springs at noon. Gibson is a U.S. Senate candidate in Washington state.

"We make no apologies for the use of force in keeping our communities safe from the scourge of right-wing violence."
Except that 99% of the violence is initiated by left-wing 'protesters'.
Non sequitur. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
As an individual, I believe, very strongly, that handguns should be banned and that there should be stringent, effective control of other firearms. However, as a judge, I know full well that the question of whether handguns can be sold is a political one, not an issue of products liability law, and that this is a matter for the legislatures, not the courts. The unconventional theories advanced in this case (and others) are totally without merit, a misuse of products liability laws. — Judge Buchmeyer, Patterson v. Gesellschaft, 1206 F.Supp. 1206, 1216 (N.D. Tex. 1985) |
