Aren't they glad that people with guns came and saved their behinds when the Nazis were all over them in WWII? Guns came in real handy for self defense against terrorists then. It doesn't appear that subjects there escaped tyranny at all..

England is a country I once admired. My family heritage is English. I've visited England and was well treated by many of the people I met there. They are a very nice people.

But their politics suck. Their government has NO RESPECT for the people it is supposed to serve ----because the government INTENDS TO RULE.

I no longer admire England. It is lost. May it sink into the North Sea.

Rifles, muskets, long-bows and hand-grenades are inherently democratic weapons. A complex weapon makes the strong stronger, while a simple weapon — so long as there is no answer to it — gives claws to the weak. — George Orwell
