Is it possible to support the people’s Second Amendment right to bear arms and also support common-sense limits on gun ownership? In the real word, most definitely. But it if you’re an Iowa legislator in 2017 and you're supporting new laws to expand access to guns, you’re not living in the real world. You’re living in a fantasy world of gun-toting, would-be heroes — the “good guys with a gun” — who honestly believe that the proliferation of guns will reduce crime and keep our streets safe for women and orphans. |
