Her so-called fix consists of a dead-on-arrival legislative proposal making gun manufacturers financially liable for the misuse of their products and an executive order determining the meaning of certain words used in federal statutes.
The liability-shifting proposal is akin to punishing General Motors whenever a drunken driver misuses his Chevy and injures someone. The courts would surely reject that. |

If a democrat is elected as the next president, you can kiss your gun rights goodbye.
All it will take is the fifth liberal on the Supreme Court to overturn 200 years of history and the meaning of the second amendment. |

jac, they will have one insurmountable problem:
"The right there specified is that of 'bearing arms for a lawful purpose.' This is not a right granted by the Constitution. Neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence." - U S v. CRUIKSHANK, 92 U.S. 542 (1875) 92 U.S. 542
No matter what they do (or try to do), we will justifiably retain and exercise the right, even to the point of being forced to use it to defend ourselves against tyranny.
That's why the right is recognized in the Constitution in the first place, and recognized as PREEXISTING.
Most gun owners know that.
And because of those facts, a HilllaryKill of RKBA will fail miserably. |

Phorto, I'm in agreement with what you say.
My comment was to point out the absurdity of voting for a Democrat.
Many of us will resist any attempt to register or turn in our firearms, but a surprising number of gun owners will give in when they make firearms illegal.
Unfortunately, the demographics are against us. Between illegal immigration and the birth rate of the low information voters, it is only a matter of time before us conservatives are voted out of existence. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
I do believe that where there is a choice only between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence. Thus when my eldest son asked me what he should have done had he been present when I was almost fatally assaulted in 1908 [by an Indian extremist opposed to Gandhi's agreement with Smuts], whether he should have run away and seen me killed or whether he should have used his physical force which he could and wanted to use, and defend me, I told him it was his duty to defend me even by using violence. Hence it was that I took part in the Boer War, the so-called Zulu Rebellion and [World War I]. Hence also do I advocate training in arms for those who believe in the method of violence. I would rather have India resort to arms in order to defend her honor than that she should in a cowardly manner become or remain a helpless witness to her own dishonor. — Mohandas K. Gandhi, Young India, August 11, 1920 from Fischer, Louis ed.,The Essential Gandhi, 1962 |
