I believe the sheriff miscued, and the case should have been brought before a grand jury.
Having said that, tossing the baby out with the bathwater is the kind of knee-jerk response one would expect from the left. But the plain fact is that the exceptions don't make the rule.
The law isn't lawed, the sheriff's judgment was. |
