There is no way to check every person in America for "mental illness." How many times do we hear of some nut offing his family only to hear neighbors say "he was such a nice quiet guy ... a good person... I'm shocked this happened!"?
OTOH when we get the Nikolas Cruzes, we find police visited his house three dozen times ...nothing .... he aimed a gun at his mother (assault with a deadly weapon) nothing ....two people call the F. B. I. and report him and ....yup, NOTHING.
The banners want it both ways. It doesn't matter if they can "detect" shooters or not. They just don't want us armed. |
