Jackson pastors shared their thoughts Sunday on a new law allowing guns in churches. Gov. Phil Bryant signed the bill into law last week. "It's a sad day in America when we even have to think about taking a firearm to church to protect the people there," said the Rev. Otis Moore, of Jackson First Church. One pastor said he was already protecting his congregation. |

TO REMEMBER |
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
