We’re a trifle melancholy as we wrap up our “Open” Glock build. That’s mainly because we enjoy the process, but also because we learn so darn much. Between Billy Lester at Jager Products and LtCol. Freddie Blish at Robar, we’re miles ahead of where we started out. (Congrats, by the way, are due Sgt. Lester: USPSA High LEO in Open at Optics Nationals. Any wonder he’s our go-to guy?) Then of course, there’s the fine converted pistol we have to show for it. If that won’t “unmelancholy” a fella (or lady) in a hurry, what would? |

John Urquhart running for reelection & like a good demoncrat he says "we have a gun violence problem and it's not just black and hispanic gangs, it's people w/ guns" he mentioned shootings in Renton, Federal Way & one other...these are 100% black or hispanic gangs. I know every inch of these places like the back of my hand, the history, and etc. A sad aspect is a lot of this occurred during Bush 2, as if the liberal elite scum here wanted to suicide the entire region...it continued unabated during obama: 16 solid years of death and destruction. I used to say no one can make me leave, no exceptions...I'm rethinking vigorously now despite my current obligations. Not the crime, it's the sweltering overpopulation (crime goes hand in hand with). |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
I do believe that where there is a choice only between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence. Thus when my eldest son asked me what he should have done had he been present when I was almost fatally assaulted in 1908 [by an Indian extremist opposed to Gandhi's agreement with Smuts], whether he should have run away and seen me killed or whether he should have used his physical force which he could and wanted to use, and defend me, I told him it was his duty to defend me even by using violence. Hence it was that I took part in the Boer War, the so-called Zulu Rebellion and [World War I]. Hence also do I advocate training in arms for those who believe in the method of violence. I would rather have India resort to arms in order to defend her honor than that she should in a cowardly manner become or remain a helpless witness to her own dishonor. — Mohandas K. Gandhi, Young India, August 11, 1920 from Fischer, Louis ed.,The Essential Gandhi, 1962 |
