Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) is taking on Texas Democratic Senate candidate Rep. Beto O'Rourke over his stance against selling AR-15s, saying the weapon can be used for "self-defense." Cornyn posted a video over the weekend of O'Rourke saying in February that he does not "think we should be selling AR-15s in this country." "For self-defense?" Cornyn replied on Twitter. |

it is difficult to believe that an anti gun politician can gain traction for a state wide office in Texas.
That is the result of giving anchor babies citizenship. It takes 18 years, but they will all vote for democrats. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
No kingdom can be secured otherwise than by arming the people. The possession of arms is the distinction between a freeman and a slave. He, who has nothing, and who himself belongs to another, must be defended by him, whose property he is, and needs no arms. But he, who thinks he is his own master, and has what he can call his own, ought to have arms to defend himself, and what he possesses; else he lives precariously, and at discretion. — James Burgh, Political Disquisitions: Or, an Enquiry into Public Errors, Defects, and Abuses [London, 1774-1775]. |
