Submitter's Note: According to the CDC's WISQARS website, between 1999 and 2003 there were 14,242 "accidental injury" deaths among children between 5 and 14, and 297 (or 2.09%) were caused by firearms. And if you expand that artificial age range to include all children 14 and under, the percentage drops to 1.31%. |
