FACT: We cannot accurately predict an individual's future criminal behavior.
FACT: We cannot prevent all crime, only deal with it afterwards.
FACT: Even government officials can commit and, on occasion have, committed crimes with guns.
FACT: The only way to accomplish the goal of keeping firearms out of the hands of criminals is to keep them out of everybody's hands... civilians and government officials alike, including our military.
FACT: If we accomplish that goal here, in the US, we open ourselves up to invasion from bad actors who have stated their intent to do so.
Maybe this is what B Hussein O wants, eh? |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
The right of a citizen to bear arms, in lawful defense of himself or the State, is absolute. He does not derive it from the State government. It is one of the high powers" delegated directly to the citizen, and `is excepted out of the general powers of government.' A law cannot be passed to infringe upon or impair it, because it is above the law, and independent of the lawmaking power." [Cockrum v. State, 24 Tex. 394, at 401-402 (1859)] |
