    | “The Second Amendment protects and preserves that right, and the state of Idaho has a duty to protect the constitution and all the rights endowed upon us there.”
Words mean things. This is an excellent sentence, perfect were it not for this unfortunate phrase "endowed upon us". The Constitution doesn't "endow" rights, it guarantees them. The rights are endowed by our Creator, or by the laws of nature, if you prefer.

That phrase should be replaced with the simple, succinct word "guaranteed." The notion that our rights are "endowed" by any instrument or decree is dangerous, and the difference should be hammered home.
