"People are quicker to shoot black targets with a gun than they are to shoot white targets, a new study suggests." ...
"The studies analyzed was mostly comprised of first-person shooter tasks and asked to make decisions when presented with images of targets from various races. The images of targets had either a gun or some sort of neutral object. Participants were asked to make a decision whether or not to shoot when they see a target with a gun. If they didn’t respond within a millisecond a message appeared asking participants to make the decision faster, as reported by NPR." ... |
