"Out of the carnage committed by a lone gunman armed with two handguns at Fort Hood on Thursday, there was one refreshing moment of total candor, if not downright common sense."
"An observation to a reporter ... by Staff Sgt. Jacob Dorisca of Dallas suggests why it is that many people consider the Army to be run by sergeants ... According to the newspaper, 'Dorisca wondered whether the slayings would lead Fort Hood’s commanding general to rethink the policy of requiring soldiers to remain unarmed while on post.'"
"What occurred at Fort Hood is not a 'tragedy' ... What happened at Fort Hood is an outrage, and while politicians and the press ... are dancing around the issue of the suspect's religion, others are not so shy." ... |

| Our soldiers were disarmed, set up to be massacred and then actually massacred, and all of that was done by US Army officers. |

Sergents / Senior NCO's-- Either you trust them or you don't. If you trust them, arm them; if you don't, why are you promoting them?? (SCPO, USN, Ret.) |

| The truth is coming out and revelations from his fellow officers reveals the contempt Malik has for America's illegal war in Iraq on behalf of Israel and big oil interests. It's tragic that our foreign policy in the region is dictated by AIPAC and their moneyed interests without regard for national sovereignty, or common decency for that matter. There will be more blow-back of this sort until such powerful lobbies are banned from the halls of Congress and the legislature is forbidden to wage war by Presidential proxy. |
