"Petitioning The State only shows you are willing to play along with its scam--the scam that claims that elected and appointed elites will provide justice, maintain peace, and protect the life and property of its subjects. The fact that one is requesting help in these areas broadcasts to The State that yes, indeed, the petitioner does indeed recognize the State’s legitimacy as protector and agent of change. Individual sovereignty has been replaced by the 'people’s sovereignty,' the elements of which, are determined by State propaganda." ... |

| That's a bunch of anarchist crap. The state ideally functions as a mechanism for the citizens to maintain order and freedom. A constitutional republic only gets out of hand when the people become lazy and uninvolved, not checking over its shoulders and keeping the level of beaurocracy to a mimimum. This article was correct that we should do what's right and moral, but the state is still needed to prosecute those who act immorally and hurt others, and to provide the minimum amount of public services needed for the common good (I'm not a collectivist, but the law is supposed to function for the common good, benefitting us individually). A small governing body is necessary to keep people from trampling on others' rights. |

That is a VERY big IF.
I think the actual quote was more like, "If you ask the right questions you don't have to worry about the answers." |

| Well how about this then. "If you can't formulate a cogent question because your information, opinions and yes, intellect are managed to produce a desired result, what the hell does it matter anyway?" Tyranny is the result deceit and greed at the expense of others and the power to pursue the former without the knowledge of others nor the consequences normally associated with that knowledge. To perpetuate itself, it must increase it's power and control. This means ultimately the finding of personnel who can be counted upon to do anything they are told to, so long as they receive a paycheck and benefits, oh yes AND special priviledges. |

kaba13@neo.rr.com, re: “This means ultimately the finding of personnel who can be counted upon to do anything they are told to, …”
Great comment. I saw something that made me most nervous recently. In the “Airman’s Magazine”, an official (?) publication of the USAF, a young woman, recently discharged from the USMC, had joined the USAF Reserves. She said in the interview that she thought she would be a good police officer because the training received from the USMC gave her the willingness to “OBEY ORDERS WITHOUT QUESTION”. The magazine let this pass without comment.
Is it just the Marines, or does the “GOOD LITTLE NAZI DISEASE” run rampant through-out our military? Hellava scary thought!!! (:<)
