"More than a million gun sales last year." I moved out of Cali in 2014. Even at that date, the gun stores looked like a Russian bakery with all its' empty shelves. Common pistols, rifles, guns of all types, were absent. Example; Gen4 glocks - no; basic Walther 380 - no; common M & Ps that the rest of the country could buy online from Cabela's - no. Amazing they sold so many when the selection was so 3rd world, like so much of Cali really is. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
The right of a citizen to bear arms, in lawful defense of himself or the State, is absolute. He does not derive it from the State government. It is one of the high powers" delegated directly to the citizen, and `is excepted out of the general powers of government.' A law cannot be passed to infringe upon or impair it, because it is above the law, and independent of the lawmaking power." [Cockrum v. State, 24 Tex. 394, at 401-402 (1859)] |
