Perhaps the best way to envision Ruger’s new P.C.C. (that is, its Pistol Caliber Carbine) is to imagine their universally admired 10-22 carbine pumped up on steroids. Every aspect of that lithe little .22 LR autoloader has been beefed up and man-sized to create a stout, dead-reliable 9mm Luger (9x19 mm) carbine that is darn near ideal for plinking fun, PCC action competition, and home defensive duties. |

I bought one back in early October. This IS a nice carbine! If you like pistol caliber longarm you really can't beat this .... it's sorta10-2w/M1 carbine-ish. Light handy and pointable! |

If they made a variant that would accept Beretta 92 mags, I'd consider buying one. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any bands of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States. — Noah Webster in "An Examination into the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution," 1787, in Paul Ford, ed., Pamphlets on the Constitution of the United States, at p. 56 (New York, 1888). |
