"Four and a half years ago, three police organizations in the United States issued advisories to warn officers that a new handgun introduced into the U.S. market by a Belgium manufacturer of military firearms represented a unique threat to the safety of police officers."
"It was a handgun that was designed to fire bullets through body armor. ..."
"The gun, manufactured by FN Herstal of Belgium, is lightweight and easily concealable, and was designed as a military sidearm ..." ... -------
Submitter's Note: And the AP ammo that the FiveSeven uses is restricted to military personnel. The only ammo this civilian can find is polymer tipped V-Max ammo. |

Armor piercing handguns don't need ammunition Bruce. They are shaped like a spearhead and weigh twenty pounds. The Brady Campaign has a patent on the design and they keep them hidden out of sight along with all those cop killer bullets and assault weapons they keep talking about. sheesh!

| LET'S STOP THE RUMOR NOW; The statement about "COP KILLER BULLETS" is by the media. First the media said the guy was killed, then he is not, well the same media said this about cop killer bullets, otherwise the story don't sell. I spoke to a M.P. on the Fort Hood Base and said that story was made up by the media, and that 9 mm rounds were used by the shooter and were regular ammo. |

| 9mm Parabellum is known for overpenetration, and is thus ideal for this situation: through-and-through on the first target, keyholeing on the second... 2 fer 1 on each round. |
