TX: Attorney General Ken Paxton sues Austin over City Hall gun ban

The city of Austin violated state law by banning people from bringing handguns into City Hall, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton charged in a lawsuit filed Thursday.

City officials have refused to allow guns into the building, claiming that occasional meetings of the Downtown Austin Community Court, which addresses low-level offenses primarily committed by the homeless, meant City Hall was exempt from allowing guns in.

“I will always make sure that governments do not trample on the Second Amendment rights of Texans,” Paxton said in a statement, “and if they do, we will sue.” The attorney general’s office said this is the first such suit it has filed.

local news station had story about citizen caught in the french truck attack on Bastille day: ended with 'no, people should not avoid traveling' but "if you are caught in an attack, run away if you can. Only fight if it is a last resort."
uh, non merci..would rather be the french cops shooting back. Not only is Merkel saying refugee attack deaths are tolerable, now they want foreigners to risk their lives to come there.
Then they showcased an obv. imported immigrant muslim couple on the DNC stage w/ hijab wife (face not covered)-[their son joined military and was killed], both glowering miserably & husband hatefully saying Trump hasn't risked anything. How far & wide did DNC search to find the 1 muslim couple who sacrificed, to use as prop?

Just a bit of humor. Today at an amusement park with my 5 yr old granddaughter, she pointed at a (woman?) in 90 degree heat all covered in black with 2 eye slits and asked ' why is she dressed like a ninja?
