“Tomorrow will be a new day in America.” Those are the words of Democrat congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, on the night of the recent midterm elections in which her party seized control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
For gun owners and freedom-loving Americans everywhere, Pelosi’s new day could become a dark nightmare. In fact, on that same election night, Pelosi listed “gun safety legislation” among the priorities she expected the new Democrat majority in the House to aggressively pursue. |

American government is apparently moving to Authoritarianism. So where did these haters of the Constitution get this power all of a sudden at attempting to destroy the Bill of Rights? These type of actions against the law abiding citizens of this country, show nothing more than total contempt for Liberty and Freedom.

Stripeseven - They get away with it because we LET them
"They're all statist bayastahds not to be trusted, but MY congressman is okay."
As Tip O'Neill famously said, "All politics is local." As long as they bring home the bacon to their districts, their voters don't much care that Congress as an institution is corrupt. |

Pelosi can promise what she wants but the Senate is going to kill it.
She's posing for the libtard base voters. |

TO REMEMBER |
There are other things so clearly out of the power of Congress, that the bare recital of them is sufficient, I mean the "...rights of bearing arms for defence, or for killing game..." These things seem to have been inserted among their objections, merely to induce the ignorant to believe that Congress would have a power over such objects and to infer from their being refused a place in the Constitution, their intention to exercise that power to the oppression of the people. —ALEXANDER WHITE (1787) |
