The City of Cleveland will host the 2015 gun buy-back on August 22 at the Cleveland Police Third District headquarters on Chester Avenue.
Anyone with an operable handgun or semi-automatic rifle can turn in those guns in return for gift cards for gas or groceries.
The City of Cleveland is teaming up with Cleveland Police Foundation, ArcelorMittal, the Cleveland Gladiators, Burt Saltzman owner of Dave’s Supermarkets, the Lake Erie Monsters, and the Cleveland Police Patrolman’s Association for this year. |

While dimwits in Cleveland turn in their guns, smarter folk are gearing up.
Never has there been a clearer contrast between losers and winners. |

I wish I lived closer. I have a bag of junk guns that I would love to unload for $100 each. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"Secrecy is the keystone of all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy ... censorship. When any government, or any church, for that matter, undertakes to say to it's subjects, 'This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,' the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything. You cannot conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him." --Robert A. Heinlein, "Revolt in 2100" (Pg. 68-69, Baen Books paperback edition, 1999 printing) |
