The Kirksville Walmart store was locked down for a period of time Wednesday afternoon, after police received a report of an armed man in the parking lot threatening to harm himself. Just after 2:00 p.m., Kirksville Police were notified by a passerby that there appeared to be a man acting agitated sitting in a pick-up truck with a gun to his head. The store was put on lockdown for a short time. ... The vehicle was approached by police and the driver was detained. It was determined by officers that there was nothing of a criminal nature. No other details are being released at this time. |
