If any of the lawmakers out there want to see what will happen when they try and pass ineffective “gun control laws” (those laws that serve no purpose and do nothing to reduce gun violence) then all they need do is look at NY and CT to see the results.
NY and CT passed some very restrictive gun laws after the Sandyhook school shooting, a typical knee jerk reaction by lawmakers. They passed laws requiring people who own certain weapons register them and banned certain weapons from being sold in the state anymore. So after this grand attempt at nothing, what happened? The lawmakers unwittingly created 100’s of thousands of new law breaking felons, out of previously law abiding average citizens. |

Gun control laws do nothing to prevent criminals from obtaining guns.
All they do is place burdens on law abiding citizens and in NY and Connecticut they have made hundreds of thousands of otherwise law abiding citizens into felons.
This is what will happen at the federal level if Clinton is elected President and gets to load the supreme court with flaming liberal judges.
Gun control is my acid test. If a politician is too stupid to understand that gun control laws only affect law abiding citizens and do nothing to prevent crime, than they are too stupid to hold office. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.... We've been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. Well, if no one among us is capable of government himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else? All of us together, in and out of government, must bear the burden. The solutions we seek must be equitable, with no one group singled out to pay a higher price. — Ronald Reagan |
