Ignore this shell game. The purpose of banning so-called "assault weapons" (anything used in an assault is a weapon, by definition) has nothing to do with crime reduction, but is to help render us helpless in the face of corrupt government. I have noticed that, over the years, those calling loudest for firearms bans eventually prove to be the most corrupt. This runs the gamut from "cop-killer bullets" to "assault weapons." And finally, firearms bans actually create criminals because they are mostly ignored by those most affected.

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Some writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins ... Society is in every state a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one. — THOMAS PAINE |
