After successfully masquerading as a conservative, Kasich has ultimately revealed himself as a progressive. Only a progressive would push for laws that demonstrably injure both the spirit and letter of the 2nd, 4th and 5th Amendments, because as progressive godfather Woodrow Wilson infamously said, “No doubt a lot of nonsense has been talked about the inalienable rights of the individual, and a great deal that was mere sentiment and pleasing speculation has been put forward as fundamental principle.” - Woodrow Wilson
And, “If you want to understand the real Declaration of Independence, do not repeat the preface.”
IOW, that pesky part about self-evident truths and inalienable liberties. THAT part.
Get thee behind me, Kasich. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
...If a man lies under oath or procures the lie of another under oath, if he perjures himself or suborns perjury, he is guilty under the statute law. Under the higher law, under the great law of morality and righteousness, he is precisely as guilty if, instead of lying in a court, he lies in a newspaper or on the stump; and in all probability, the evil effects of his conduct are infinitely more widespread and more pernicious. — Teddy Roosevelt - May 12, 1900 |
