You haven't the constitutional power to remove the rights of law-abiding gun owners, and the sooner you accept that and say it out loud, the better. The whole notion of legislatures passing unconstitutional laws and then tedious, contentious, EXPENSIVE court challenges must ensue to strike them down is a flaw in our system. We must enact a mechanism that clears the constitutional hurdle BEFORE any bill becomes law. |
