Congress likes to meddle where it is not authorized by the Constitution, and the list is long: National Parks, Education, charity, "the Arts"...
Congress also abrogates its responsibilities, such as the provision giving Congress EXCLUSIVE legislative authority over the District of Columbia, allowing the city and the District to legislate.
We need to elect representatives who will follow the Constitution instead of ask, "Are you kidding?", when looking at legislative concepts.
Giving carte blanche to Obama would be, IMAO, treasonous. |
