Obama promised to deliver executive orders to decrease gun violence. Guess what wasn’t in any of it? Taking away your guns.
Obama is not coming to take your guns. There’s been this narrative for seven years that he’s coming for them, yet you still have your guns. If he’s coming for your guns, he better get busy because he’s running out of time. In fact, he hasn’t even talked about taking away guns.

The cartoon IS funny, but not for the reason the artist thinks.
It's hilarious because the parent on the phone has his priorities straight, which obviously is not the point the artist wanted conveyed. |

"suindependent The Independent"
apparently the liberal Hillary/O'Malley democrat variety of independent, how weak - 'no labels' BS... - http://www.oregonlive.com/gresham/index.ssf/2015/10/woman_hit_in_crosswalk_by_pot-.html
this woman was extremely against the legalization of marijuana, according to her husband...re-ban it? an inherently dangerous, mind altering, mostly unregulated, potent drug in the hands of morons with no 'consumption training'...as if no one was driving while toking/smoking in portlandia before the law: the usual there historically, if you research the reports, are drunk hispanic illegal males who flee the scene in car or on foot. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.— Benjamin Franklin Historical Review of Pennsylvania. [Note: This sentence was often quoted in the Revolutionary period. It occurs even so early as November, 1755, in an answer by the Assembly of Pennsylvania to the Governor, and forms the motto of Franklin's "Historical Review," 1759, appearing also in the body of the work. — Frothingham: Rise of the Republic of the United States, p. 413. ] |
