It may come as a surprise to some, but a new poll done by Siena College shows that the majority of New York voters are in favor of the gun control law called the SAFE Act.
"What Siena found in this most recent poll is what we have found consistently over the last several years which is that there is very strong support for the SAFE Act among New York voters. In fact, supporters outnumber opponents almost 2 to 1," said Steve Greenberg, Siena pollster.

The Bill of Rights exists precisely to block violations of fundamental liberties, even if they are "supported" by a majority.
The exercise of fundamental rights is not subject to any poll or plebiscite, BY DEFINITION. |

| 52 of the 62 counties here in NY have passed resolution against the SAFE Act. PERIOD. It is all the downstate libtards who haven't seen a blade of grass except for Central Park that is the problem. Some counties have gone as far as demanding that their county seal be posted nowhere near anything to do with the SAFE Act. What does that tell you? Follow more at SCOPE NY. |

I for one don't trust a poll conducted by a liberal college.
It is too easy to achieve the desired result by prescreening the respondents. |
