Competitive shooting: It's an Olympic sport, but doesn't always get the coverage it deserves.
Did you know the U.S. fields a deeply talented women's team? But while there's a plethora of talented shooters trying out for Team USA, only two will make the Games.
Skeet shooter Kim Rhode has brought home a medal from the Summer Olympics every four years since 1996. And now two women who train right here in Colorado Springs are vying for a spot on the team.
"For me being ranked so high on the world level and I just haven't made the Olympic team yet, so I keep coming back and I am really excited to get it done," says Caitlin Conner.

I'm confused. Doesn't Japan absolutely prohibit the possession and use of firearms? |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. ~ Marcus Tullius Cicero (42B.C) |
