Comparing us to the Swiss, or Germans, or French, or Canadians, or Brits is like comparing protein to carbohydrates.
Yes, they are both foods, but that's where the similarity ends.
I really wish 'good-intentioned' people would quit this ridiculous exercise.
We are not anyone else - we are AMERICANS. |

Once each year our government should provide us with free ammo to train with and remain proficient with our weapons. Oh yea, can I have an m-16 that I used while in the military. (would really rather have my M-14, but I don't believe they would let me have either). I would lock them up in one of my gun safes. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered, as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them. — Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States; With a Preliminary Review of the Constitutional History of the Colonies and States before the Adoption of the Constitution [Boston, 1833]. |
