CA: We Must Hold the NRA Accountable After Another Massacre at Their Hands

Just two nights ago in Thousand Oaks just north of Los Angeles, a group of young people were having a fun-filled evening of line dancing at the Borderline Bar. Security was posted at the door, and the surrounding community has long been considered one of the safest in America.

A man entered armed with a single Glock .45 handgun equipped with an extended magazine. Moments later 12 people were dead or dying, and 18 were injured. One man, armed with one gun.

Idiots.

The NRA hasn't hurt anyone. Do we put car dealership owners in jail when a car is used to run someone down?

This is pure politics. They're trying to crush an organization they oppose.

He coulda done the same damage with a single shot with no one armed to shoot back ! Or reloaded with multiple magazines of lower capacity, same outcome.

How about we hold gun control advocates liable for making people defenseless instead?

Law abiding citizens have no responsibility to accept the actions of criminals, and for the law abiding to be continually looked at as if they are some kind of suspect, is criminal in itself. Any person advocating gun control, gun registration, etc., of law abiding citizens, is just another example of those that continually seek to undermine our constitutional form of government. The Constitution requires all members of Congress to take an oath of office to support the Constitution before assuming office. Persons of little character, or honor disobey their oath. Citizens must see that their elected officials are bound by the chains of the Constitution.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
A state may not impose a charge for the enjoyment of a right granted by the federal constitution... The power to impose a license tax on the exercise of these freedoms is indeed as potent as the power of censorship which this Court has repeatedly struck down... a person cannot be compelled 'to purchase, through a license fee or a license tax, the privilege freely granted by the constitution.' —MURDOCK V. PENNSYLVANIA 319 US 105 (1942)
