You've seen her name among the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) headlines. Emma Stertz has led the CSS Nordic Ski Team in four races so far this season.
"She's a very talented athlete and she really drives her teammates pretty hard in training which in turn makes them better, which makes our team as a whole better," said CSS Assistant Skiing Coach Reitler Hodgert.
Most of them have been local races. However, beginning Thursday Stertz will ski on an international state as she's qualified for the U.S. Junior Biathlon World Championship Team.

Why does the article focus entirely on skiing and mention nothing about her ability to shoot?
Is this "Junior Biathlon" a biathlon, or isn't it? |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Are we at last brought to such humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with arms for our defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in possession and under our direction, and having them under the management of Congress? If our defense be the real object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hands? — Patrick Henry, 3 J. Elliot, Debates in the Several State Conventions 45, 2d ed. Philadelphia, 1836 |
