"Fox News host Geraldo Rivera made another outrageous statement regarding gun control, and his distaste for those who choose to exercise their right for the Second Amendment."
"On Friday’s Fox & Friends show, Geraldo was asked to comment on a recent story out of Pasadena, Texas about a mother who was 'charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.'"
"Speaking about the incident, Geraldo said :First I'll talk about the guns. I think that there are far too many creepy, untrained people with deadly weapons in their possession, legally and I lament that, that's a gun-control argument I can never win. ..." ... |

First, I'll talk about vans. There are far too many creepy people out there with panel vans... the kind without windows, where kidnapped victims can be hidden from view. Those vans are legal, and I don't think I'll ever win an argument to have them outlawed. There are laws about where you can drive: stay on the street, not the sidewalk... keep your speed down... but people die every day.
So, she drove up to her daughter rapidly, and scared the S#!+ out of everybody in the vicinity. Who knew if her brakes would work or not? Who knew if there was brake fluid in the system, or if she wasn't even going to stop? |

There's never a reason to use even potentially deadly force to protect a family member, no matter what all those State Constitutions have written in them, or how the Supreme Court has ruled.
Nobody has the right to take another's life... any time, any place, or any circumstance. |

I'd opine there are "far too many creepy untrained people" with political agendas and a MM podium posturing themselves as "reporters" when, in reality, they're propagandists pushing an agenda. While biased reporting has always been with us, at one time competition (that ugly profit motive), ensured multiple views and analyses of any incident. Now we get one uniform lie. Or worse, only get to see a highly edited version too often false to fact constructed by the media. Recall ABC's oft published b&w "police photo" of George Zimmerman's facial injuries. Even cheap cell phones take color photos with better resolution than these "media moguls" were peddling. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Today the taxing power, rather than chattel slavery, is the instrument by which the parasitical element of the population subsists. And that element, which includes politicians, panics at the slightest reduction in the state's power to plunder. Once you start liberating taxpayers, even a little tiny bit, nobody knows where it may end. —Joseph Sobran |
