In 2014, a total of 2,212 people tried to carry handguns onto commercial airplanes in the United States. One of those incidents happened in Fort Wayne.
So far in 2015, though, even more people have tried to board planes with guns, and it's happened five times in Fort Wayne so far this year.
And about 90 percent of the time the guns are loaded. |

This REALLY needs to be explained?
Oh, well. I guess some people are brain dead. |

Every time I read of someone "Trying to board a plane with a GUN!" I think of the LAST time I flew out of Midway, and the ticket agents kept TELLING ME that since I'd identified the gun and done the paperwork and all, I could now carry it in my CARRY-ON luggage! They even called over a "Supervisor" and asked him "about the recent changes in the law, which allows declared guns to be carried on." I said that I DIDN'T want to carry it one! They grudgingly put it in the stowed luggage, but it was really against their insistence and efforts!
