For one shining moment during Thursday night’s GOP debate, Republican candidates were a united front: in no way would they consider restricting access to guns.
Donald Trump was the first to weigh in, being asked outright if there were “any circumstances” in which he would restrict access to guns. “No,” he said flatly. Trump, like so many others, buys into the idea of a “good guy with a gun” who can stand against violent criminals. |

Crispy Cream had never found a gun law he didn't like until he decided to run for President. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks. — Thomas Jefferson, Encyclopedia of T. Jefferson, 318, Foley, Ed., reissued 1967. |
