To better understand how smart firearm technologies could be used to help secure federal law officers' handguns, the Justice Department's research and development agency is turning to gun safety companies and the public for suggestions. On July 15, the National Institute of Justice issued draft baseline specifications for how law enforcement service pistols would be equipped with security technology. |

Yeah, they'll work until the first ISIS team electronically shuts them off.
THEN watch what happens. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks. — Thomas Jefferson, Encyclopedia of T. Jefferson, 318, Foley, Ed., reissued 1967. |
