This time, they are stark, raving, barking, howling mad. And they may be in charge. “They” would be the legislators who appear driven to make the Second Amendment superior to all our other rights. They would not even interfere with the “right” of a dangerously mentally ill person to have unfettered access to guns and ammunition. And they would block that person’s medical providers from tipping off the cops if their patient is about to explode. |

Obviously Mr. White has joined the "shrinking minority" of hoplophobic ranters willing to mindlessly iterate demonstrably false syllogisms ad infinitum. "Silencer" ? Really, Mr. White. The correct term is "suppressor", or "attenuator". "Silencer" is pure advertising hyperbole by Mr. Maxim perpetuated by hollywood plot fantasies. And individuals' purchase/possession is controlled by the ATFE. As are all firearms purchases from licensed retailers after receiving certification of fitness to possess from the same government agency.
One wonders if Mr. White would be equally accepting of similar restrictions upon his purchase of personal computers/modems or internet access. |
