The deadly weekend in Chicago is the most recent indication of the soaring violence in the city. There have been 614 murders in the city so far this year — more than in New York and Los Angeles combined and the highest number in over a decade. Nationwide, while the number of homicides declined for several years after 2008, it has risen in recent years. There were 15,696 murders in 2015, up by 7.1% from 2011 and 10.8% from 2014. The violence is concentrated in certain U.S. cities. |

| St Louie MO, (remember Ferguson?); is the murder capital of America. One wonders if an angst against law enforcement and violent crime go hand in hand. |

| Another common factor this article failed to mention is the selective breeding program for violent criminals these Repressive Democrat utopias have been running for decades. They have been an unqualified success in promoting contempt for Law and disregard for human life among the most ruthless and violent as they compete for terrority and prey. When too many predators exist for the number of available victims the predators turn against each other to survive and the most vicious tend to survive. |
