You may have gathered we’ve been on the road this week to take advantage of a rare opportunity—shooting with the some of the very best at USPSA’s first all-optics “Nationals.” Competition at this level is always an education, and quite often of the drinking-from-a-fire-hose variety. We made it through with a pistol caliber carbine without any egregious mishaps of our own making, and our gear had a lot to do with that. Few things are more distracting than “not-bang,” and we had none of that malarkey over two long days, 20 stages and 481 rounds. |

will run simultaneously with a 15-year sentence on a federal gun charge...won't extend his prison time.

that's Burien, soon to be Sanctuary City. (blue liberal)
"Dodson still faces state drug charges stemming from the March 2015 traffic stop. Prosecutors say he tossed a loaded pistol, along with cocaine and marijuana, as he ran from North Charleston police officers."
5 years prison added onto gun charge....I wish they wouldn't bait us with this ****, but it IS a bad precedent. I briefly knew an attempt murder felon (humongous young guy) that did 6 years, so the law is an ass as usual. Also, If you can't handle barking, why do you have a dog? |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"Some people think that the Second Amendment is an outdated relic of an earlier time. Doubtless some also think that constitutional protections of other rights are outdated relics of earlier times. We The People own those rights regardless, unless and until We The People repeal them. For those who believe it to be outdated, the Second Amendment provides a good test of whether their allegiance is really to the Constitution of the United States, or only to their preferences in public policies and audiences. The Constitution is law, not vague aspirations, and we are obligated to protect, defend, and apply it. If the Second Amendment were truly an outdated relic, the Constitution provides a method for repeal. The Constitution does not furnish the federal courts with an eraser." --9th Circuit Court Judge Andrew Kleinfeld, dissenting opinion in which the court refused to rehear the case while citing deeply flawed anti-Second Amendment nonsense (Nordyke v. King; opinion filed April 5, 2004) |
