In bond court Saturday, accused cop shooter David Mejia used his opportunity in front of a judge to vent his frustrations about everything from "crooked cops" to what he referred to as the glorification of George Zimmerman, the man who fatally shot Florida teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012.
As the judge read off Mejia's laundry list of charges, including five attempted murder charges, Mejia took offense to the fact that his charges were non-bondable offenses, CBS Miami reports. |

"vent his frustrations" ...more like spew his alibis/excuses...how many warnings about the mental health issues do we need: lynnwood, wa had some zombie woman walk in w/ a shotgun and stare vacantly/vapidly at the wall...the cop apparently felt she was too far gone to be a threat and actually outmanuevered/talked her out of the gun, and she lived to make it to the rubber room/regional center. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Some of the worst abuses of government force in recent years were precipitated by technical and victimless gun-law violations. For example, the BATF claimed that the Branch Davidians possessed machine guns without paying the required federal tax and filling in the proper registration forms. So a tax case worth less than $10,000 led to a 76-man helicopter, machine gun, and grenade assault on a home in which 2/3 of the occupants were women and children. — Dave Kopel and Dr. Michael S.
