State boundaries exist for a reason: to delineate where one set of citizens has the right to govern themselves and another doesn’t. Indiana and Missouri do many things differently from Illinois — and, we regret to say, sometimes better. But we are free to follow their example anytime we want. Those other states can’t impose their policies on the Land of Lincoln.

Denial ain't just a river in Egypt. The other states would be 'imposing' NOTHING.
The federal government would, pursuant to its delegated power to do so in perfect compliance with the 10th Amendment. Article IV Section 1 gives the feds the power to mandate recognition of all "public Acts, Records and judicial Proceedings" of each state by all the others.
Period. You may not like that, but hey, fasten your seatbelt - it's going to be a bumpy ride. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any colour or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction. — St. George Tucker, in his edition of 'Blackstone's Commentaries,' 1:300 (1803). |
